FAQs

  • As a maker of custom jewellery with nothing on the shelf, I can source everything for you during the planning stage. This includes Diamonds, Sapphires, Emeralds, Rubies; all manner of gemstones, precious and semi-precious.

  • Yes, I certainly can. In most cases, however, this will be classified as a remake, as it involves removing all the stones, changing the shape of the item and adding more precious metal, using the base piece as a source of raw materials.

  • Yes! Diamonds are 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, meaning they are almost impervious to damage. So your great grandmothers diamond ring will most likely have a diamond in it that is as perfect as the day it was cut.

Sapphires and Rubies are both 9 on the Mohs hardness scale. An older Sapphire or Ruby, or softer gemstone, might have some slight damage, so I'd need to see the stones before confirming.

  • Creation time varies depending on the design and process required. (For example, wax needs to be sent off for casting). As a guide, I will say two to three weeks. If you require an express piece, I can certainly organise this for you at an additional fee.

  • Yes, I can help you. Please contact me to discuss what you need.
